Teaching Academy

The Teaching Academy at Sun Valley Primary school is divided into four sections:

1. GAP Teaching Program

Complete a Bachelor of Education degree while working and being mentored at Sun Valley Primary School

2. George Whitfield College

In association with the George Whitfield College, The Teaching Academy presents a 3-year course in children's ministry

3. The Room Parent Program

The Teaching Academy trains Sun Valley Primary School parents in the skills of Room Parenting. 3 levels of trainig are offered to parents. There are currently 180 trained Room Parents at our school

4. Professional Development

The Teaching Academy offers in-service professional developement for teachers
